Step-by-Step Process
Log in to myAadhaar
Go to myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and log in using your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile.
Select the Update Type
Choose 'Update Aadhaar Online' for address changes; note that name/DOB/gender changes need a visit to an Aadhaar Seva Kendra with supporting documents.
Upload Supporting Document
For an online address update, scan and upload one valid, current address proof document accepted by UIDAI.
Pay the Update Fee
Pay the nominal update fee (₹50 online) via UPI, card, or net banking to submit the request.
Track Your URN
Note your Update Request Number (URN) and track processing status; the updated e-Aadhaar is usually available within a few days.

- Address updates can be done fully online if your mobile is linked to Aadhaar; name, DOB, and gender changes require an in-person Seva Kendra visit.
