Upload your photograph, signature, self-attested enrollment certificate, and photo ID, then pay the exam fee (varies by category) online.
Download Admit Card and Prepare for the Open-Book Exam
Download your admit card closer to the exam date; AIBE is an open-book exam, so you're allowed to carry permitted bare acts and study material into the exam hall.
Pro Tips & Warnings
- AIBE is an open-book exam, so focus your preparation on knowing which sections of your bare acts to reference quickly rather than memorizing everything - most candidates bring tabbed/highlighted copies of the relevant acts.
- You can start appearing in court as a provisional advocate immediately after State Bar Council enrollment, even before clearing AIBE, but you must pass AIBE within the prescribed window (as per the current Bar Council of India rules in force) to continue practicing and receive your Certificate of Practice.
- Keep your enrollment certificate and ID details consistent across your Bar Council enrollment and AIBE registration - mismatched names or enrollment numbers are a common reason for application rejection.
