Step-by-Step Process
Find Your Subscriber ID
Locate your Subscriber ID/Viewer Card number, usually shown on the TV's 'My Account' screen, the set-top box sticker, or a past SMS from the operator.
Choose Recharge Channel
Open the operator's app (Tata Play, Airtel Thanks, Dish TV) or any UPI/recharge app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) and select 'DTH Recharge'.
Select or Modify Your Pack
Renew your existing pack as-is, or use the operator's channel selector to add/remove channels before recharging, since plan cost changes with selection.
Make the Payment
Pay the recharge amount via UPI, card, net banking, or wallet balance - most operator apps also allow scheduling auto-recharge.
Confirm Channel Activation
Channels typically resume within a few minutes; if not, restart the set-top box or check signal strength from the remote's settings menu.
Pro Tips & Warnings
- Recharge a day or two before expiry - a lapsed subscription can take longer to reactivate and may reset your saved channel preferences.
- Use the operator's own app for the widest range of pack customization; third-party UPI apps usually only offer standard/last-used pack renewal.
