Step-by-Step Process
Check Eligibility Criteria
Confirm you are a Madhya Pradesh resident woman aged 21-60, from a family with income below Rs 2.5 lakh/year, and that no family member is an income-tax payer, government employee, or owns a four-wheeler.
Attend Registration Camp or Apply Online
Visit the Anganwadi centre/village camp set up by the state, or use the CM Ladli Behna mobile app/portal, and provide your Samagra ID for the operator to fill your application.
Biometric e-KYC and Document Upload
Complete Aadhaar-based biometric verification at the camp, get your live photo captured, and have the operator upload your bank passbook and self-declaration documents.
Track Application Status
Use your application/Samagra ID on cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in or the mobile app to check whether your form has been approved, is pending, or rejected with a reason.
Receive Monthly Installment
Once approved, Rs 1,250 is credited every month directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account under the state's Direct Benefit Transfer, usually around a fixed date each month.
Pro Tips & Warnings
- The monthly amount was raised from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,250 in 2023, and the state government has indicated further phased increases - check the portal for the current rate.
- If you already receive benefits under other state pension schemes that together total Rs 1,250 or more per month, you may only get the difference topped up, not a full extra Rs 1,250.
- Since this is a Madhya Pradesh state scheme, residents of other states are not eligible - each state runs its own similar women's welfare cash-transfer scheme under a different name.
