Apply for a new subsidized LPG gas connection from an oil marketing company (Indane, HP Gas, Bharat Gas) through the common pmuy.gov.in/mylpg.html portal, choosing your nearest distributor and connection type (regular or Ujjwala).

Step-by-Step Process
Register on pmuy.gov.in/mylpg.html
Visit pmuy.gov.in/mylpg.html and choose your preferred oil marketing company (Indane, HP Gas, or Bharat Gas) to see connection options in your area.
Select Your Nearest Distributor
Search by state, district and area to find distributors serving your address, and check which ones are currently accepting new connection requests.
Fill the Online Application (KYC Form)
Complete Form KYC with your name, address, ID proof details and bank account (for DBTL subsidy), then upload scanned copies of your documents.
Pay the Connection Fee
Pay the security deposit for the cylinder and regulator, plus applicable installation charges, online through the portal or at the distributor's office.
Schedule the Safety Installation Visit
A distributor technician visits your home to install the regulator, check the kitchen for safety compliance, and hand over the LPG ID card.
Pro Tips & Warnings
- Check if you're eligible for the PMUY (Ujjwala) scheme for a free or subsidized connection if you belong to a BPL household - apply through the same portal.
- Link your Aadhaar and bank account at the time of application itself to avoid a separate DBTL subsidy-linking step later.
- Ask for the safety demonstration and cylinder-handling leaflet during installation - it's mandatory and useful in case of a gas leak emergency.
